About

Welcome to the HanVoice Blog.

HanVoice is a Canadian human rights organization established in 2007, dedicated to ending the plight of North Korean refugees. HanVoice has since grown into an organization of hundreds of concerned Canadian citizens, engaging in various public awareness raising projects, networking with other human rights organizations and community organizations, and lobbying with the Canadian government.

HanVoice believes that the North Korean refugees crisis is an urgent problem that requires international action. As Canadians, we not only believe that Canada has the responsibility to protect those who cannot protect themselves but also that we can, because we are Canadians, raise our voice and make an impact in the lives of North Korean refugees. Please visit hanvoice.org for more information about our work.

This web site is a forum for all to share and discuss all pertinent news about the North Korean refugee crisis and HanVoice activities as well as North Korea-related multimedia and in-depth analyses. We hope this will be a lively venue for for staying up to date with the North Korean refugee issue and with our efforts.
